This is a Unique Ca 1933 Utah Highway Patrol Honorary Superintendent Badge #1. This Badge was probably present a prominent Utah figure, supportive of the Honorary Police, at the time.
Note that the badge Has The Early Swallow Tail Ribbon Banners as seenn on the Pre-1933 Utah State Road Commission Badges. Possibly Given to Utah Governor George Henry Dern.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1933.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height x 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
