Fabulous Old 1890s Hires Root Beer Mug by Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach

ARTIFACT: This is a fabulous old 1890s Hires Root Beer mug by Villeroy & Boch of Mettlach, Germany. The mug shows a young man raising a mug of the beverage and advises to JOIN HEALTH AND CHEER DRINK HIRES ROOTBEER.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 5” in height and 3” in diameter at top.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Ceramic.

MARKINGS: 3012 and VILLEROY & BOCH METTLACH MADE IN GERMANY.
