1903 Villeroy & Boch (Mettlach) Export 1/4 Litre "Tanz" (Dance) Stoneware Beer Tumbler

This is a lovely 1903 Villeroy & Boch export ¼ litre stoneware beer tumbler or beaker. The tumbler was made in Mettlach, Germany and has a vibrant scene showing a couple dancing beneath the word "TANZ" (Dance). The reverse of the tumbler has a 1/4l mark stamped neat the rim and several leafy vines for decoration.

Circa 1903 I.

Approximately 5" in height and 2-3/4" in diameter (at rim).
