ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful Pre-Prohibition 1909 South Bend (Indiana) Brewing Association Mettlach Beer Mug. A Mettlach mug is a beer mug, often a beer stein, produced by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Mettlach, Germany. These mugs are known for their quality, artistry, and distinctive base markings, particularly those from the "golden age" of beer steins between 1885 and 1910.

VINTAGE: 1909.

SIZE: Approximately: 4-1/2" in height x 4-3/4" in width (image 2 & 3) x 2-7/8" in diameter opening Top x 3-1/2" diameter wide on the bottom. .

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Ceramic.

CONDITION: 8- (Excellent): The mug shows interior staining and minor hair lines, But No Chips or Breaks, overall, it is in excellent condition.
