This is a fabulous circa 1935 air traffic controller hat badge for Eastern Air Lines by Whitehead & Hoag. The badge is an early one, as Eastern had only just changed its name from Eastern Air Transport the year before. The badge is oval and has a delicate winged arrow insignia that is very Deco.
VINTAGE:Circa 1935.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 2-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth.
