ARTIFACT: This is a fabulous circa 1935 air traffic controller hat badge for Eastern Air Lines by Whitehead & Hoag. The badge is an early one, as Eastern had only just changed its name from Eastern Air Transport the year before. The badge is oval and has a delicate winged arrow insignia that is very Deco.

VINTAGE: Circa 1935.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 2-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth.

MARKINGS: W & H CO.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows only some light wear and tarnish; all enamel is intact.
