ARTIFACT:

This is a fabulous 14 karat gold and diamond "son-in-service" pin with a United States Army eagle added by a jeweler. The pin has a diamond star at center and is joined to the eagle pin by a chain.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Chain is approximately 3/8" in height x 5/8" in width Eagle Pin 1/2" in height x 7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold and diamond service pin and brass and painted details on eagle.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch on service pin and horizontal safety-style pin on eagle.

MARKINGS:

PALL 14K on star pin.
