ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver World War II "son-in-service" pin. The top part of the pin is a single blue star bordered by a red rectangle and a United States Army officer's eagle pendant hangs beneath.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver,painted areas.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin, suspension ring.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a son-in-service pin collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MEL13 LCDX9/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has some light wear and tarnish.
