This is a sterling silver World War II "son-in-service" pin. The top part of the pin is a single blue star bordered by a red rectangle and a United States Army officer's eagle pendant hangs beneath.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver,painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin, suspension ring.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
