Description
This is a sterling World War II United States Army son-in-service pin. The pin is in two pieces joined by a chain, with one pin being the Great Seal and the other being a rectangle with a single star at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Seal pin: approximately 13/16" in height and 3/4" in width; star pin: approximately 5/16" in height and 5/8" in width"; chain is about 2-3/4" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pins with drop-in swivel locking catches, suspension loops, chain.
MARKINGS:STER and PAT number on each pin.
