This is an extremely rare World War II US Navy Fighter Squadron 13 (VF-13) badge in 10 karat gold. The badge is a petite wing with the enameled face of a crazed black cat against two crossed missiles.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" height and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:10K in two spots and marker's mark.
