This is an extremely rare early World War II United States Army Transportation Service Chief Petty Officer hat badge. The badge is a large anchor with a shield at center bearing a winged wheel insignia.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
