Extremely Rare & Possibly Unique WWI 102nd Balloon Co. Painted Helmet

This is an extremely rare and possibly unique World War I United States Army 102nd Balloon Company helmet. There is a logo painted on the front along with A.E.F. (American Expeditionary Forces) and the dates 1917-19.

Circa World War I.

No tag: approximate size 7-1/4.

Painted steel, two metal buckles, short leather strap, wool, cotton.

Two buckles.

MIS 57 stamped inside rim.
