ARTIFACT:

This is an extremely rare World War I Balloon Pilot's (or Aeronaut's) wing made in thick bullion on wool. The wing has an air balloon sewn into it and was removed from the uniform.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height x 3" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Bullion embroidery on Wool.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto a uniform.
