This is a Beautiful, "Salty", & Extremely Rare US Air Service Balloon Pilot Aeronaut Wing in Pinback Bullion.
VINTAGE:World War I.
SIZE:Approximately: 1" in height x 3-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bullion embroidery on Wool.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The wing shows minor wear, and the thread is loose on both side of edge needs to be sewn. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
