Extremely Rare Ca 1935-1937 Hitler Youth Wir Fliegen Flying Badge Code: gmng20006hy

This is rare pre-1937 Hitler Youth flying badge. A membership / qualification badge of sorts on par with being an Air Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. The badge shows a swastika on a winged propeller and reads WIR FLIEGEN (We fly). This badge was modeled from a "day badge"of an early (1934) DLV / HJ event that took place in Norderney, an island off the North Sea Coast of Germany.

Circa 1935 - 1937.

Approximately 1-5/8" in width x 13/16" in height.

Silver-plated brass with black paint.

Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
