ARTIFACT: Extremely rare 1930's – 1940's New York State Fire Warden shoulder patch embroidered on wool and still attached to a piece of the original jacket. The center shows an embroidered image of an evergreen and below it: "STATE OF NEW YORK" in yellow detail and surrounding it reads: "FIRE WARDEN" in red.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's – 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" x 2-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool, cotton/polyester thread, heavy canvas (duck) piece of jacket

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX16 LAGEX1/17

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The patch shows moderate wear and soiling, was removed from jacket – original piece remains intact, thread colors are bright, overall fine condition.
