ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1930's Ð 1940's State of Maine Fish and Game Warden hat badge #'d 25. The badge shows the Great Seal of the State of Maine, with its motto "Dirigo" (I lead). The badge is slightly convex and is numbered 25 on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's Ð 1940's

SIZE: Approximately: 2-3/8" in height and 2-1/16" in width

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS: "25"

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The hat badge shows minor to moderate wear, the reverse shows areas of verdigris, overall handsome patina
