ARTIFACT:
This is an extremely rare Early 1930's Pre State Police New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Department Inspector badge & hate badge. These badges are 3rd issue, 1st type badges. The hat badge is as rare as the breast badge. The badges come with thirteen mid 1930's accident scene photos, two of which show an NHMVD Inspector. Most of these pictures are very well kept, and some of them have simple descriptions of what is happening in the photo on the reverse.

Badge: 2-3/4" x 1-3/4", Hat Badge: 2-7/16" x 2". Photos: Various sizes.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel plated brass, photographic paper.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with tube type catch. Modified during period of use. Hat badge has a screw post, but is missing the screwback.

CONDITION:
6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The badges are in fine condition, with quite a lot of wear on both. The hat badge is missing the screwback and the catch on the regular badge seems to have been modified after breaking. The photographs are all in great condition, though.
