Description
Rare mid 1930's New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Department Inspector badge by Whitehead & Hoag, New Jersey. The center of the badge shows the NH State Seal and surrounding it reads: "INSPECTOR NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR VEHICLE DEPT.", the base of the badge shows the number "64", and the top features an eagle, wings spread and head bowed. This badge was woirn by NH State Motor Vehicle Inspectors, who served in a capacity similar to the NH State Police, prior to that agency's formation in 193Overall, the badge shows great detail and the reverse features a great Whitehead & Hoag maker's plaque.
