ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare circa 1943 1st design 390th Bomb Group, II Bomber Command, 2nd Air Force, Leather 4th Bomb Wing, 8th Air Force Leather Patch.

Inked on embossed Leather, this type of patch was reportedly made by prisoners penitentiary in the State of Washington.

VINTAGE: World War II, 1943.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/4" in height and 3-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Inked on embossed leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: 390th GROUP written on reverse.
