ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare circa 1880's Portsmouth New Hampshire Fire Department M.H. Goodrich Engine 4 Badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-5/8" in height x 1-15/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated nickel with heavy pool of lead holding the pin on the back.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin.

8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, overall, it is in very good condition as circa 1880s.
