This is an extremely rare, & beautiful, WWI Bulgarian Pilot Badge, German Made, most likely by Carl Dillenius, but does not have the Square or Quadrat mark.
I have owned 3 or 4 WWI Bulgarian Observers, but only this 1 Pilot.
It is in excellent shape, with light tarnish and patina.
Circa WWI.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" x 2"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt & Sterling Silver .
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with 'C' catch.
