Beautiful Pre / Early WWII Bulgarian Pilot Badge Bulgarian Made by Miloshev Rare in Pin Back

ARTIFACT: What we have here is a beautiful pre-WWII or early WWII Bulgarian Pilot Badge. It is Bulgarian Made, by the usual maker, Strahil Miloshev Workshop in Sofia, Bulgaria, but, it is very rare in the fact that it is made in pinback, not the usual screwback. The findings are very well made, of what would be a wartime material: Aluminum. The nut used to hold the backing plate in place is the same used internally, so it appears to be a factory produced piece. Very intriguing. 

VINTAGE: Pre to Early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-3/16" in height x 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt & enameled bronze central background piece and applied pieces, silver plated tombak outer wreath, nickel plated steel backing plate, and aluminum findings.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T- pin with C catch.
