Ext Rare 1930's Goodyear Airship / Zeppelin Pilot Hat Badge in Gilt Sterling by Whitehead & Hoag

This is an extremely rare Goodyear airship pilot hat badge in sterling silver made by Whitehead & Hoag. The badge is a pair of spread wings with a diamond-shaped lozenge at center displaying a blue and yellow flag.

Circa 1930's -early 1940's.

2" in height x 2" in width.

Gilt sterling with blue and yellow enamel.

Two screw posts with disc backings.

STERLING with Circled WH Whitehead & Hoag maker's mark.
