ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare 1930's - 1940's bullion Goodyear Airship / Zeppelin Pilot Wing. The wing shows a winged foot within a ship's steering wheel flanked by a pair of wings.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - 1940's.

SIZE: 3-1/2" in length x 1" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt wing embroidered in gold and silver bullion thread.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: Attached original manufacturer label reads S. MARS NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Zeppelin and Civil Aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAGJ07 LBBJJX4/10 SLDEGEX12/06/22

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Wing has some small areas where felt is gone and has a light tarnish.
