ARTIFACT: This is an Exquisite 3-piece Screwback Imperial Prussian Iron Cross 1st Class in 800 Silver by Deutscher Offizier Verein.

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in height x 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 800 Sterling Silver and paint.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with two-piece disc backing, a larger disc secured by a smaller Screwback.

MARKINGS: DEUTSCHER OFFIZIER VEREIN 800 (GERMAN OFFICER ASSOCIATION or League 800)

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of German Militaria artifacts which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-VCJJX01/08 LIGEX03/27/23 hldSVIBJX12/24 depVAJJX12/01/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent):The Iron Cross shows minor wear, and much of the painted details remain intact, overall handsome tarnish.
