Description
This is a circa 1910s badge for The Order of The Lily and The Eagle, a secret Rosicrucian fraternity or society. The badge is in plated brass with bright blue enamel, and shows a double-headed eagle surrounded by lilies. The letters around the border of the badge read MDSMDLUAFDLT, which stand for "Mandate of the Sublime Master of the Universe to the Sons of the Earth.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 3-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Enamel, gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Rectangular loop.
