Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an circa early World War II Royal Air Force pilot wing. The wing is in embroidered wool and is slightly padded. It has been removed form a uniform.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 4-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool with cotton/silk embroidery, burlap backing, padding.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
