Description
Early 1970's United States Naval Commander Carrier Group 5 jacket patch. The Japanese-made patch is in the shape of a triangle and depicts a number '5' in the center with red arrows and yellow stars and it reads: "COMMANDER CARRIER GROUP" along the top. During the early 1970's the Carrier Group was deployed to the Bay of Bengal at the height of the Indo-Pakistani War in support of Western Pakistani forces.
