This is a beautiful Japanese-made circa 1960s patch for the United States Navy Carrier Air Wing 5 (CVW-5). The patch shows five wings lined up in different colors.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:About 5" in height and about 6" wide.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton embroidery thread on cotton.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection of WW II to Vietnam vintage US Naval Aviation patches which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX06 LHEX05/08 SHEX02/19
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+) This patch is in very good condition with minor soiling and unobtrusive stitch-marks from being sewn to a garment.
