Description
This is an elaborately carved circa early 20th century Chinese dragon in rosewood with bone and glass inserts composing the teeth and eyes. The dragon appears to be meant as a decorative holder, perhaps for a pen, brush or quill: there is a narrow opening centered upon the ridge of its back. The dragon is about fourteen inches long and has lovely detailing.
