Description
This is an unidentified Chinese medal from the early twentieth century. It is similar in design to service medals given out by some United States societies. The arms of the star are enameled, with a golden sun at the center of the medal. It has a maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa early 20th century.
SIZE:Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 1-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass, enamel, silk.
ATTACHMENT:Ribbon, horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:KONG SUN SHANGHAI, diamond maker mark.
