ARTIFACT: Early 20th century – WWII unidentified Chinese lapel pin. Possibly transportation related. The center of the pin displays two flags, one white with a blue winged embellishment in the center and the other is red and white and shows Chinese lettering. Lettering is also along the top and vertically splits the middle of the two flags. The reverse shows a tube threaded with a safety style pin.

VINTAGE: Circa early 20th century - WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, silver

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of unidentified Chinese artifacts which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. MAEX16 LX7/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The enamel shows moderate wear particularly to the white and blue flag, much of the details remain intact, handsome patina on reverse, overall very fine condition.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
