Description
This is an early 1960s jacket patch for the USS Albany CG-10, a guided missile cruiser launched on June 30, 1945 from the Boston Naval Shipyard. The Albany, originally a heavy cruiser, was redesignated as a guided cruiser missile on November 1, 195She was decommissioned in 1980.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 3-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
