ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early 1960s presentation lighter by Prince for the United States Navy's Admiral Frederick J. Becton, Commander of the Mine Force Pacific Fleet. The reverse of the lighter has a great enameled blue flag with two silver stars.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Hinge.

MARKINGS:

PRINCE "ROCKY" PAT. 234754 PRINCE MFG CO with symbol.
