This is an early 1960s jacket patch for the United States Navy Carrier Air Group 4 (CAG-4). The patch shows a tiger's head at its center and reads FACILITATE SCIENTIA VIRITAS.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/16" in height and 3-15/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton/polyester threads.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch shows only light wear and excellent original coloring.
