Description
Circa 1955 United States Navy Carrier USS Hancock Jacket Patch. The USS Hancock triangle insignia is the original WWII insignia that served as the ships official insignia until it was decommissioned after Vietnam. The center of the patch bears a shield of red, white, and blue and above it reads "USS HANCOCK". The patch is triangular shaped and depicts a carrier heading straight on with breaking waves at the base and a naval pilot wing along the top.
