This is a circa early 1940s United Airlines Flight Engineer Wing 2nd & 3rd issue.
It is very similar to the Pilot Wing of the same period, but the area of the wings are void instead of filled with bullion.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1940s.
SIZE:About 3-3/8" in length by 1-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver bullion with a brass and enamel logo on wool felt.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a come-under locking catch (please note: the locking part of the catch is absent).
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Very minor wear; some minor damage to enamel; catch is very slightly bent and locking part is absent.
