ARTIFACT: This is a gorgeous circa late 1940s flight engineer wing from Trans World Airlines, which began in 1930 when Transcontinental Air Transport merged with Western Air Express. The wing is gold-filled and has great details, with the letters TWA at its center perched upon an arrow. .

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 1/20 10K GF.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing shows only extremely light wear, all to the reverse.
