This is an early 1920s-1930s United States Coast Guard officer cap badge with band. The badge is an eagle with a crest perched on a sideways anchor.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:3-5/16" height and 11-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass badge and felt mounted on leather backing; cotton elasticized band.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing attaching badge to backing; fold-over pins; elasticized hat band.
