1930s US Navy Officer Cap Badge

This is a 1930s United States Navy officer's cap badge. The eagle atop the crest looks short and squat and resolute.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 2-7/16" in width.

Plated brass.

Two screw posts with disc backings, stabilization teeth.
