This is a United States Navy chief petty officer cap badge. The badge is an anchor and rope with the letters USN.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

1-1/2" height and 1-1/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with "C" catch.
