This is a distinctive insignia by S. E. Eby Company for the United States Army 300th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a powder blue crest bearing a dynamic design with three crossed golden words and two bordered circles representing the muzzles of twin cannon.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-1/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:S. E. EBY CO. PHILA.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): DI has light abrasions and moderate tarnish on reverse; some red enamel is missing from circles.
