ARTIFACT:
This is a great old circa early 1950s airline uniform tie clip for the Flying Tiger Line, which began in 1945 as the first commercial air cargo company in the US and was later a military charter outfit until 1989. The clip has the "shark mouth" (2nd Issue) logo enameled in red and blue and was made by Anson.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:
Approximately 7/16" in height and 2-5/8" in length.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Clip.
