Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1910s or 1920s mechanical pencil in wood, nickel and brass which is in the shape of a musket. The pencil is retractable: there is a peg on the right-hand side that pushes back on an internal spring. The hammer also moves.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s - 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5-3/4" in length and 1-1/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass, nickel, wood.

ATTACHMENT:

Retractable.

None.
