ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1910s or 1920s Hooksett, New Hampshire Special Police badge. The badge is in a unique embellished shield design much like a fire badge and may mean that this was a fire lines badge. It is numbered 147 on the front.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

147 on front.
