ARTIFACT:
This is a circa late 1950s Pan Am "Jet Clippers" promotional key chain. Pan Am's jet clippers were the first to offer circumnavigation of the globe, and at a rate about twice as fast as regular passenger aircraft. The keychain reads PAN AM "JET CLIPPERS" WORLD'S FASTEST AIRLINERS on one side and has the Pan Am globe logo on reverse.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gilt brass-foiled aluminum.
ATTACHMENT:
Key chain, hole.
