Circa Late 1890s - Early 1900s Boston, Massachusetts Police Belt, Buckle and Holster

This is a Boston Police belt, buckle and holster from the late 1890s Ð early 1900s. The buckle is round with a wreathed border and reads BOSTONIA CONDITA AD. 1630 against a cityscape.

Circa late 1890s - early 1900s.

Approximately 37" in length (from end of belt to side of holster as shown); holster itself is approximately 10" high.

Leather, plated brass, cotton cloth.

Interlocking belt buckle, holes, metal prong, clip sewn onto cloth on reverse of holster.
