Description
This is a Boston Police belt, buckle and holster from the late 1890s Ð early 1900s. The buckle is round with a wreathed border and reads BOSTONIA CONDITA AD. 1630 against a cityscape.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1890s - early 1900s.
SIZE:Approximately 37" in length (from end of belt to side of holster as shown); holster itself is approximately 10" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, plated brass, cotton cloth.
ATTACHMENT:Interlocking belt buckle, holes, metal prong, clip sewn onto cloth on reverse of holster.

CONDITION:6- (Fine): Belt leather is heavily worn with crackling and one spot of partial separation (shown); buckle is dented at center and has heavy wear and tarnish.
