This is a circa 1980s patch for the United States Navy Patron 9 (Patrol Squadron 9), aka "Golden Eagles". VP-9 is based at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base in Hawaii. The twill patch shows a streamlined blue eagle about to drop a bomb.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-5/8" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
