This is a circa 1970s-1980s trainman hat badge for the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ, or Balgarski Darzhavni Zheleznitsi), in operation since 188The central device of the badge is the side view of a railroad car wheel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s-1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 1/2"in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Bendable prong.
MARKINGS:None.
