This is a circa 1950's bullion trainman hat badge for the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ, or Balgarski Darzhavni Zheleznitsi), in operation since 188The central device of the badge is the side view of a railroad car wheel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/16" in width and 7/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gabardine wool embroidered in bullion thread, paper backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
